This policy explains what Peak Fitness & Sports Training, LLC ("we," "us") collects through the Field Demon app, how it's used, and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Account details: email, password (stored only as a secure hash), name, handle and optional bio and photo.
- Birth date and sex: used only to place you in leaderboard divisions. Other members see your division (for example "30–39"), never your birth date.
- What you post: challenge entries and videos, chat messages, photos, comments, reactions and your PR log.
- Device push token: so we can send notifications you've allowed.
How it's used
To run the app: show your posts to the community, rank challenge entries, deliver messages and notifications, and keep the community safe (including reviewing reports). We don't sell your data and don't use it for advertising.
Who can see what
Your profile, challenge entries, channel messages and comments are visible to other members. Direct messages are visible only to the two people in them (and to moderators when a message is reported). Your PR log is private unless you choose to share a PR.
Service providers
We use hosting, storage and notification providers to operate the app. They process data only on our behalf.
Camera and photo library
The app asks for camera and photo library access only when you choose to record or pick a video for a challenge entry, attach a photo or video in chat or your PR log, or set a profile photo. It doesn't access them at any other time.
Keeping and deleting data
Your data is kept while your account exists, except for videos, which we keep for a limited time to keep storage manageable:
- Challenge entry videos: the video from your best attempt at each challenge (your best Rx and best Scaled attempt, if the challenge has both) is kept, because it's the proof behind your place on the leaderboard. Videos from your other attempts are deleted 30 days after the challenge ends. Your scores, captions, comments and reactions are not affected.
- Chat videos: deleted 180 days after they're posted. The message itself stays.
- Videos are compressed after upload to save space; this doesn't change what they show.
- Content under review because of a report is kept until the review is finished.
Deleting your account (Profile → Delete account) permanently deletes your account, posts, messages, uploads and PR log. You can also request deletion without the app.
Security
Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, and data travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
Field Demon isn't for anyone under 15, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and significant ones are announced in the app.
